cool picture. i like the bright yellow. i think it's a habit for me now, but all my colors look very washed out, i'm scared to make them bright

i have a grumbacher alizarin crimson, and i still make it look like washed out pink :lmao:

Have you tried photographing them and uploading that or tweaking the scanned image in Photoshop to make it more true to the original?
